Good grief but 4 am just gets earlier and earlier. How is that even
possible? I'm counting down the weeks days that the alarm will go off at the
horrible hour.* I do, at least, have a soothing CD instead of a blaring
alarm (because the mister needs his beauty rest). I'm lazy, though, so
it doesn't get changed very often. It's from my new collection commonly
referred to as the Garden State Set around my house.
I recently purchased something like 12 cds that each could have been part of the soundtrack. There's this internet station that I listen to sometimes called Cool As Folk but it's really all Garden State all the time. It's good music to copy, paste and save to. It's excellent music to listen to while telling people to SCROLL DOWN or reboot. I do need to keep my calm if it's yet another scroll down issue.
My 4 am cd is Amos Lee...I know the first part of Track 1 so very well now. The problem is I want to listen to it and the mister (and the dogs) don't really appreciate that at 4 am.
It also throws my carefully scheduled morning off by a tiny bit if I do so. My goal is to be out the door by 4:14 at the latest. With all my gear and a MINI mug of English Breakfast tea that has been allowed to steep for exactly 4 minutes. As much as I love me some Amos in the morning, my day will be total shit if I get thrown off that early. Then I remember to keep it loose.
Some times we forget what we got
And who we are and who we are not
I think we got a chance to make it right
Keep it loose
Keep it tight
Keep it tight
With any luck at all it will be only 22 after today. I can do that, right?
There is absolutely no way I could get up at 4am FOR A JOB. I can barely get up a 6:30, and I much prefer the 7:20 time, should I have to get up at all!

6 days out of 7 I see 4am from the other side and it's a happy time of day, but never is it ok to "have" to wake at that ungodly hour, I don't know how you do it. cd or no cd it's craziness how do you go on days off can you sleep in?

I don't know how you do 4 am wake-up calls! Yikes!
Do you hate me b/c I usually get up at 8:00?

4AM would be impossible for me to do. Caffeine or not, I would just be dead. I sure hope you're out of there before Christmas! From the looks of tonight's news, it's going to be rather quiet there come December.
Did you mean 22 days, or weeks, left?

Soo, 22 days left at getting up at 4AM? God, I hope so -- for your sake and even mine! (even just READING that you get up at 4AM is enough to cause me pain!! LOL)
I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have a radio station that plays songs that *could* have been on Garden State! Love that music, freakin' love it!
Since I don't have a radio like that, I download from iTunes and compile my own "versions".
Also, I find nearly any "Grey's Anatomy" soundtrack-type of song is usually awesome as well! (and the second soundtrack for GA just came out earlier this month!)

4am isn't really morning, it's still night. What time are you going to bed at the moment? There's something very wrong with this picture. 21 and counting...
