I guess one of my resolutions this year will be to have more fun, and do more memes. I can't get hoppin' john (since I'm actually on a plane right now) so I thought I'd finally answer these questions. It was lots of fun trying to think of my favorites in each category. Thanks for indulging me by reading.
Seven things to do before I die (not in order of priority):
- Go to Scotland and Sweden with the mister (I've been to both and he's been to neither)
- Own a convertible
- Be an understanding and cool mother-in-law
- Live on a beach somewhere, anywhere
- Finish my kitchen remodel
- Study cooking abroad
- Travel as much as possible
Seven things I cannot do:
- Camp for more than 2 nights without becoming very grumpy due to lack of toilets and shower
- Become a morning person
- Stay off the internet for very long
- Consider living without Netflix
- Ski (used to love this but blew out my knee skiing 12 years ago)
- Carry a tune to save my life
- Like my brother-in-law, no matter how I've tried
Seven things that attract me to my spouse (in random order):
- His intelligence
- His sense of humor
- His twinkling eyes
- His kind heart
- His generous spirit
- His open mindedness
- His ability to write the best notes on cards ever!
Seven things I say most often:
- Seriously? (think Jon Stewart not valley girl)
- Whatever
- I'm just sayin'...
- Y'all
- Go, go, go! (this is to my dogs)
- I was listening to this story on NPR about
- No thanks, YOU can have the first shower (one of the first things the mister hears nearly every morning)
Seven books (or series) I love (in random order):
- Bel Canto
- The Shipping News
- The Little Prince
- Love in the Time of Cholera (and anything by Garcia Marquez)
- The Great Gatsby
- The House of Spirits/Eva Luna/anything by Isabel Allende
- any collection of short stories by Alice Munro
Seven movies I watch over and over again (in random order): This would be easier if I just listed directors.
- The Princess Bride
- Breakfast at Tiffany's
- Raising Arizona/Fargo (and anything else by the Coen brothers, but these two are my tops)
- Gone with the Wind
- Pulp Fiction (and Resevoir Dogs)
- All About Eve
- Bladerunner: Director's Cut
Seven people I'm curious about that I'd like to join in:
Um, I think everyone has had a chance at this one but feel free to jump in or list yours in the comments here if you don't have a blog.
Oh man, I realize I have so much reading to do. :-)

I'm thinking the BIL thing might be asking a bit much of you. You're only human, you know.

I adore The Little Prince. I bought two copies of it as a teenager (one in english, one in french) imagining I would read it to my children. *sigh*
One of my regrets is not having saved a 50 franc note, that had a lovely image of the prince, before they were replaced by Euros. *another sigh*

"Camp for more than 2 nights without becoming very grumpy due to lack of toilets and shower"
Now for me, that would read 2 hours. Oh who am I kidding, 2 minutes. I HATE camping lol
